Purpose of Assignment The Midwife at SAMS Medical Center in Zaatari Refugee Camp is responsible for providing safe, respectful, evidence-based, and high-quality maternal and reproductive health services to women and adolescent girls, in accordance with Jordanian national health protocols, established clinical guidelines, and SAMS policies and procedures. The Midwife provides care throughout pregnancy and the postnatal period, including antenatal assessments, maternal and newborn health education, counseling, identification of pregnancy-related risk factors, early recognition of complications, and timely referral to appropriate healthcare facilities. The role contributes to improving access to essential maternal and reproductive healthcare services for Syrian refugees and other eligible beneficiaries in Zaatari Camp.
