Job title : Head of Finance (East Africa) Reports to: Cluster Country Director Location : Kenya or Ethiopia (Right to work in Kenya/Ethiopia required) Contract : Fixed-term contract - 80% basis (renewal subject to performance and funding) Duration: 6 months Job purpose BBC Media Action is the BBC’s international charity. We use media and communication to reach millions of people across the world with information they can trust, helping people understand their rights, participate in dialogue, and make informed decisions about issues affecting their lives. As part of a new operating model, BBC Media Action is piloting a new operational Cluster Model for our programming in East Africa, covering Kenya (cluster lead office), Ethiopia, Uganda and Somalia. The role provides financial leadership across the East Africa Cluster, supporting strategic planning, financial performance, donor compliance and risk management.
