Work Location Pohnpei, Micronesia Expected duration Overall Contract Duration: 25 Nov26 - 24 Feb 27 Estimated amount of actual time to worked (days, weeks, months): 40 hours per week Regular Working Hours: 9:30 TO 17:30 CST Duties and Responsibilities Purpose: The UN Resident Coordinator's Office (RCO) for Micronesia supports UN development coordination across the sub-region, working with UN entities, governments, regional organisations and partners to advance the Sustainable Development Goals and to communicate UN results, values and priorities to Micronesian audiences. Communications is central to this mandate. With a small team covering a geographically dispersed sub-region, the RCO seeks a part-time intern to strengthen its social media presence, support coverage of major regional moments, and help build the next generation of Micronesian communicators. The intern will gain practical experience in UN communications, multilateral coordination and regional advocacy.
