Job Summary The Field Health Officer oversees the implementation and follow-up of the project’s health component activities, through coordination with the relevant health authorities and monitoring of health service readiness, implementation quality, data, and reporting, in order to ensure the project’s objectives are achieved in line with approved technical and humanitarian standards. Duties and Responsibilities Follow up on the implementation of health component activities in line with the approved work plan, and ensure the targeted results and indicators are achieved. Coordinate continuously with the health facility management, the Directorate of Health, and relevant parties to ensure activities run smoothly. Follow up on the rehabilitation and equipping works of the health facility, and ensure continuity of services during the implementation phases. Oversee the readiness of health services and the availability of the required medicines, consumables, and medical equipment. Monitor medical inventory management, storage safety, and the cold chain, and report any gaps or operational risks.
