Org. Setting and Reporting This position is located in the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in Bogota, Colombia. The Assistant Finance Officer reports to the Programme Management Officer, under the general supervision of the Representative. Responsibilities Within delegated authority, the Assistant Finance Officer will be responsible for the following duties: • Monitors compliance with applicable United Nations, OHCHR and UNDP financial regulations, rules, policies and procedures, and reviews financial transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with established requirements. • Assists in the preparation, revision and monitoring of programme and project budgets, including the analysis of budget implementation, expenditure trends and utilization of financial resources. • Prepares financial analyses, forecasts, budget performance reports and other financial information required to support management decision-making and programme implementation. • Reviews and processes financial transactions and accounting records, ensuring proper recording, reconciliation and maintenance of financial data in the relevant financial management systems. •…
