Org. Setting and Reporting This position is located in the Centralized Warehousing Section under the Supply Chain Management Pillar, United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), Naqoura. The Supply Officer will report to the Chief of Centralized Warehousing Section or his/her designate. Responsibilities • Within delegated authority, the Supply Officer will carry out the following duties: • Act as officer in charge of Centralized warehousing section during CCWS absence. • Supervise and optimize storage facilities, including ABC categorization and placement of items. • Oversee incoming receipts, inspections, issuing, physical verifications and stock control requirements for machinery, equipment, tools, materials, services, supplies, food aid, utilities, etc. • Receive inbound deliveries from the Movement Control (MovCon) Unit, freight forwarders, or local vendors and carry out physical verification of goods. • Coordinate with relevant Technical Sections to perform technical inspections of goods and equipment received in the mission. • Ensure timely production of accurate R&I reports within the stipulated three-day timeframe following physical receipt of goods. • Identify and…
