About this role
TEAM/PROGRAMME : Finance & IT Department LOCATION: Damascus GRADE: 2 CONTRACT LENGTH: 12 months CHILD SAFEGUARDING: Level 3: The role holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work in country programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff. ROLE PURPOSE: The key purpose of this post is to is to ensure that the IT strategy and vision aligned, tuned up and supporting Save the Children strategy and vision, manage and ensure efficient and effective IT and Communications systems and applications are in place to facilitate the CO operations and keep staff informed through timely and pertinent communications, providing the IT technology infrastructures and contributing to organizational policy regarding quality standards and strategic planning.
