Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship The position of Safeguards Officer (Environment) is assigned to the Office of Safeguards (OSFG). You will be based at our Resident Mission Office in Port Moresby. You will report to the Principal Safeguards Specialist (Environment) and designated technical international staff. Your Role As a Safeguards Officer (Environment) you will independently provide technical support to (i) ensure that assigned sovereign and nonsovereign projects under processing and implementation comply with ADB’s environmental safeguard requirements and other relevant environment requirements such as those related to climate change, as updated from time to time, and their respective operations manuals, related procedures and mandates; (ii) contribute to the…
