Org. Setting and Reporting This position is located in the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP), duty station Nicosia. The incumbent will report directly to the Chief of Mission Support or his/her designate. Responsibilities Within delegated authority, the Chief, Operations and Resource Management will be responsible for bringing strategic and cross-cutting mission support functions with a view to ensuring coherence in forecasting, performance monitoring planning and coordination related to operational and resourcing activities. The position performs the following responsibilities: •Provide overall guidance, support and oversight for the effective management of the following functions and components: Human Resources Section (HRS), Finance Resources and Performance Section (FRPS), Field Technology Section (FTS), and Procurement Section (PS); •Assists and supports the Chief of Mission Support in providing strategic direction to the above components for the effective fulfilment of the mission support strategies and plans; •Ensures the development, preparation, coordination and monitoring of strategies, risk mitigation and work plans for the administrative activities…
