About this role
Job Purpose Contribute to the implementation of operational communication strategy and the strengthening of external communications in the mission according to INTERSOS standards. Aim at building INTERSOS visibility, acceptance and leverage inside the country. Focus on media alert, local media management and content diffusion and support the production of quality multimedia materials. Reporting to: Hierarchical: Communication Coordinator (in absence: Head of Mission) Functional : HQ Communication Coordinator Key Responsibilities : Internal Communications and Accountability Help in promoting INTERSOS external communications principles and material towards the National Staffs. Sensitize National Staffs about potential external communications risks Monitor the international and national media and social media highlighting any relevant content for the humanitarian response in the country and for INTERSOS’ programmes Implement an ‘early warning system’ on national/regional issues and news In collaboration with Project/Programme Managers, ensure the respect of visibility guidelines and donors’ compliance Ensure the respect of INTERSOS’ protection, communications, and privacy policies…
