About this role
Are you an experienced Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) professional with a passion for advancing evidence-based MHPSS practice in humanitarian settings? Danish Red Cross (DRC) is looking for a MHPSS Advisor to provide technical expertise, capacity development, and quality assurance to the Red Cross Red Crescent National Societies (RCRC) National Societies delivering community-based MHPSS interventions in humanitarian settings. About the position and the assignments You will be based at the Danish Red Cross HQ in Copenhagen and will be part of the Health Team in the Technical Quality and Impact Unit of the International Department. The Health Team comprises technical advisors within health and mental health and psychosocial support. It ensures the availability of the necessary technical capacities to provide timely and relevant assistance and advice to DRC-supported operations, with a primary focus on the Africa, while also supporting MHPSS interventions in MENA, Europe and Asia regions as needed.
