About this role
Result of Service The SLCP Finance Consultant will support the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change and the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) by developing the financing strategy for the National SLCP Action Plan (Clean Air and Climate Action Plan). S/he will work together with the project team to: 1. Identify compatible financing sources and instruments: Identify funding sources and financing instruments compatible with the mitigation measures outlined in the Plan. 2. Map existing resources and gaps: Map existing or committed resources—including funding source, amount, supported action/measure, and responsible institution—and identify financing gaps. Resources mapped should include national budgets, multilateral development bank projects, and national financing institutions projects. 3. Analyze key financing mechanisms: Analyze key financing mechanisms, including their requirements, eligibility criteria, conditions, and access possibilities. 4. Articulate the strategy: Articulate this information into a cohesive financing strategy to support the implementation of the Plan. 5.
