About this role
Result of Service The consultant- Technology-Enhanced Pedagogy (TEP) is expected to undertake a systemic review of technology literacy (Edtech) of teaching personnel across UNRWA Fields of Operation and design a training programme for educators on ICT, including a training package with facilitator notes, presentations etc. The consultant is also expected to support the pilot of the training package and train UNRWA staff to implement the training. Background UNRWA has been leveraging technology to enhance teaching-learning in its classrooms guided by the UNRWA Strategy for Information and Communication Technologies for Education (ICT4E), enhancing the delivery of education to over 550,000 Palestine refugee students attending Agency schools. The UNRWA ICT4E strategy outlines how and why the Agency’s Education Programme will interact with technology for learning, teaching and management over the years to come, through the four enablers of devices, internet connectivity, software and digital resources and capacity.
