Org. Setting and Reporting This position is located primarily in the eTrade Initiatives Section of the E-Commerce and Digital Economy Branch, Division on Technology and Logistics of UNCTAD. The Graphic Arts Assistant will report to the Chief of the eTrade Initiatives Section and relevant Programme Officers as necessary. Responsibilities Within limits of delegated authority, the Graphic Arts Assistant will be responsible for the following duties in English and French: • Assists in the layout and preparation of information materials, including to be delivered by digital means (including social media), in consultation with authors and other relevant staff, establishes mock-ups to meet communications objectives; prepares submission schedules for various communications products (e.g., newsletters, flyers, brochures, notes, research papers, web-stories). • In consultation with relevant staff/units, assists in the planning the design, production and scheduling of graphic material, including web-design; assists in providing technical support for the design, layout, and mock up of various communications products, using relevant publishing tools, services or products. • Acts as liaison…
