About this role
Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission and direct supervision of the Programmes Coordinator (Humanitarian Response and Recovery (HRR)), N'Djamena, and the administrative supervision of the Head of Sub Office, the Emergency Officer (HRR) will be responsible and accountable for supporting the implementation and management of the portfolio of Emergency Operations in the relevant Region of Chad. Responsibilities Contribute to the development and implementation of the HRR, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Shelter and Settlements (S&S) and Rapid Response for IOM in the Lac region of the country, supporting the integration of operations approach within emergency, transition and/or recovery programming. Coordinate the overall implementation of the HRR, WASH S&S and Rapid Response programme in accordance with the different projects' specifications, donor requirements and IOM rules and regulations.
