About this role
Northern Lights Aid (NLA) is a small grassroots NGO in Kavala, Northern Greece, that focuses on improving the quality of life of people living in the nearby Perigiali Refugee Camp, as well as other vulnerable communities in the local area. We provide material support through a free store, and operate a Community Centre where we offer informal education and recreational activities. We are looking for a Community Centre Coordinator to join us in Kavala on the 7th of January 2027 for a minimum of 4 months. The role of the Community Centre Coordinator is to facilitate activities and create social spaces in the centre, as well as managing the centre’s materials and facilities. The Community Centre Coordinator is dedicated to creating a welcoming, inclusive and safe environment for all ages, genders and backgrounds. They build and maintain strong community connections by promoting skill sharing and engaging community members in a variety of activities.
