Org. Setting and Reporting This position is based in the Communications and Information Technology Unit (CITU) within the Office of Administrative Services (OAS) at the International Seabed Authority (ISA) Secretariat in Kingston, Jamaica. The ISA is an international organization established under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) and the 1994 Agreement relating to the Implementation of Part XI of UNCLOS. The ISA is the organization through which States Parties to UNCLOS organize and control activities in the Area, particularly with a view to administering the resources of the Area. CITU is responsible for providing secure, reliable, resilient and effective information and communications technology (ICT) services and capabilities to support the Secretariat’s mandate and operations. Its responsibilities encompass ICT infrastructure and services, enterprise applications and systems, cybersecurity and information security, ICT governance and risk management, business continuity and disaster recovery, web and digital services, and technology-enabled business processes.
