Job Title: Special Education Facilitator Job location: Syria, Idleb Report to: Admin Officer JOB SUMMARY The special education facilitator is responsible for the Ddagnosis of the needs of children with disabilities or learning difficulties, designing and implementing individualized educational programs that meet those needs, and providing academic, behavioral, and social support within an inclusive educational environment that respects individual differences. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The special education facilitator has the following responsibilities and duties: • 1. Assess the child’s educational and developmental abilities using both standardized and non-standardized tools. • Prepare and develop an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. • Conduct individual or group rehabilitation sessions based on the objectives of the educational plan. • Use and adapt a variety of teaching strategies (visual, auditory, sensory) according to the type of disability. • Modify activities and adapt the environment to suit the child’s abilities. • Document academic, educational, and developmental progress through regular reports and systematic…
