About this role
Under the overall supervision National Information Management and Database Officer – ACDMS and the direct supervision of the Senior Database and Software Developer Associate – ACDMS, and the technical supervision of the Database and Information Management Officer, the Database and Application Support Associate – ACDMS will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation, testing, maintenance, documentation and user support of the Afghanistan Centralised Database Management System (ACDMS). The incumbent will work closely with the ACDMS technical team, programme information management focal points, Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and other relevant units, and will carry out assigned technical tasks in accordance with approved specifications, procedures and priorities. ACDMS is a Country Office (CO)-wide institutional data management initiative intended to provide a centrally governed, secure, scalable and interoperable platform supporting beneficiary and service records, programme and project management, document management, referrals and case management, needs and assessments, monitoring and evaluation, audit functions, reporting and analysis.
