About this role
Health Management Information Systems (HMIS) Consultant Purpose of the Consultancy The incumbent will spearhead the structural alignment of health indicators, data collection tools, digital configurations, and foundational analytics platforms to support the “Enhancing GIS & HIS Capacities (Somalia)” project. The consultant is responsible for establishing a specialized M&E function within the WHO Somalia Country Office to independently monitor the execution and reach of polio and immunization activities, ensuring alignment with the National Digital Health Strategy. Ba c kground The World Health Organization (WHO), in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Health (MoH) and the Somalia National Bureau of Statistics (SNBS), is executing a strategic project titled “Enhancing GIS & HIS Capacities (Somalia)”. This project targeted technical support to develop the national digital health strategy and to integrate HIS, Digital Health, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance program monitoring.
