Background Empowered to work across the spectrum of human development, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) operates in about 170 countries and territories to eradicate poverty, reduce inequalities and advance the Sustainable Development Goals. In Ukraine, and in alignment with its Country Programme Document (2025–2029) and the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework, UNDP supports emergency response and long-term recovery, including restoration of essential social infrastructure and inclusive access to health services. Within this framework, UNDP Ukraine is implementing the Strengthening Civilian Health Service Delivery in Ukraine project, funded by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief). The project supports civilian hospitals in Kyiv, Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts through the needs-based procurement, delivery, installation and operationalization of priority medical equipment and related supplies.
