The project aims to address interconnected challenges related to limited access to safe water and sanitation, poor hygiene practices, stunting, environmentally related diseases, disruption to children’s education, and increasing climate risks such as droughts, floods, and landslides. The project adopts a holistic approach that combines WASH infrastructure improvements with behaviour change, stronger governance, water resource protection, and sustainable management of WASH services. The project will reach all primary schools and Puskesmas across the three target districts through a phased, dual-track and cohort-based approach.
