Org. Setting and Reporting This position is located in the Strategic Management Unit in the Office of the Special Adviser on Africa. The incumbent reports to the Senior Programme Management Officer. The Office of the Special Adviser on Africa (OSAA) has a mandate to enhance international support for Africa's development and security through its advocacy and analytical work, assist the Secretary-General in improving coherence and coordination of the UN System support to Africa at the global level, in particular relating to the support for the African Union’s Agenda 2063: The Africa We Want, and establish a monitoring mechanism for commitments to Africa's development. This mandate is implemented through the following key functional roles: advisory, advocacy, coordination, and monitoring Responsibilities Within limits of delegated authority, the Graphic Arts Assistant will be responsible for the following duties: • Participates in meetings with teams to discuss potential design projects, e.g. substantive content, communication objectives, media (including electronically published products) and design options, technical specifications, costs, schedules/deadlines, etc. • Independently…
