CIMMYT is seeking an experienced and detail-focused Accountant to join our finance team. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies. This role is essential for supporting the financial management and integrity of CIMMYT's operations worldwide. Responsibilities Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable. Prepare timely and accurate financial reports and reconciliations. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes. Ensure compliance with internal controls, organizational policies, and donor requirements. Assist with internal and external audits and coordinate documentation as needed. Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial management. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline. Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in an international or non-profit organization.
