FOR THE CONSULTANCY CONTRACT OF: Field Engineer Duty Station of the Consultancy: Koror, Republic of Palau Duration of Consultancy: 11 months (with possibility of extension) Nature of the consultancy: International Field Engineer Project Context and Scope: [JC1] [JC2] The COFA READY project aims to advance U.S. commitments to its Compact of Free Association (COFA) partner nations by strengthening disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and reconstruction readiness across the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI), and the Republic of Palau (ROP). The project supports resilient infrastructure investments, enhances disaster management systems, and strengthens the capacity of communities and government institutions to prepare for, respond to, and recover from natural hazards and climate-related risks. In ROP, IOM is seeking to recruit a Field Engineer Consultant to support the implementation of READY project infrastructure activities under Component 2 (Recovery Readiness).
