About this role
JOB PURPOSE: The incumbent will be responsible for the overall management, coordination, and monitoring of health programs including integrated primary health care, sexual and reproductive health (SRH), nutrition, and immunization services with a particular focus on improving polio vaccination coverage in hard-to-reach areas in Borno state. The role will provide technical guidance and support to field teams to strengthen program quality, improve data collection and analysis, and ensure the timely preparation of accurate reports. The incumbent will also coordinate closely with the State Ministry of Health, particularly the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) Department on immunization-related matters and other primary health care priorities. RESPONSIBILITIES: In collaboration with the Program Manager, Medical Coordinator, and relevant team members, support the planning, implementation and monitoring of medical activities in line with INTERSOS project plans, mission strategy, technical standards, and protocols.
