Its operations are implemented by field and coordination teams and supported by Operational Cells based in Paris, Nairobi, Dakar, Dubai and Tokyo. Cell 6, also known as the Nairobi Cell, is based in Nairobi and holds the operational portfolio for the missions of South Sudan, Chad, Kenya and Sudan. The Cell is made up of; Cell Manager and Deputy Cell Managers (medical and operations), and key technical and support functions, Logistics, Finance, Human Resources, Supply and Communication.
