About this role
Caritas Internationalis brings together 162 autonomous national organisations in more than 200 countries and territories across the world, each responding to its local context while forming one network that provides emergency relief, supports long-term development and calls for justice and peace. The Caritas Internationalis Management Standards (CIMS) are a reference tool for member organisations, and for regional bodies and the General secretariat, to assess their progress at any given time, support ongoing institutional development, strengthen capacity and long-term sustainability. By applying them, the Confederation as a whole aims to become more effective through good governance, sound management and strong accountability. ?
