About this role
1. Background Terre des Hommes Italia (TDH Italy) supports children, young people, families and communities in Syria through education, protection, inclusion and social cohesion programmes. As part of its social cohesion work, TDH Italy intends to strengthen young people’s ability to understand conflict dynamics, design contextually relevant peacebuilding interventions, and plan and facilitate inclusive community dialogue. The training will combine practical knowledge with opportunities to apply skills through exercises, simulations and group work relevant to participants’ communities. TDH Italy seeks an individual trainer to develop and deliver two complementary training programmes in Aleppo, Latakia and Idlib: Understanding Conflict and Designing Peacebuilding Interventions.
