Organizational Context a. Organizational Setting The post is located in the Standards Section of the International Classifications and Standards Division, the Infrastructure and Platforms Sector. The Section leads the Global Intellectual Property Assignment Platform (GIPAP) project, which, in collaboration with intellectual property (IP) offices and rights holders, aims to create a single, centralized portal that streamlines the recordation of patent, trademark and industrial design assignments across multiple jurisdictions. The Section is also responsible for the Committee on WIPO Standards (CWS), which develops and manages WIPO Standards to promote standardization and interoperability among IP offices, and for the WIPO ICT Leadership Dialogue (WILD), which advances digital cooperation and harmonization.
