Description : At SHAPE, the strategic command that plans and directs NATO operations, you will be the analytical voice that helps SACEUR and the Command Group see crises coming before they unfold. As a Political and Security Analyst within the Operations Directorate, you will assess adversary and competitor dynamics, with a particular focus on Russia, deterrence, and escalation, and turn complex political and security developments into clear, compelling briefings that directly inform operational planning and strategic decision-making. If you have a strong track record in political and security analysis, a deep understanding of Russia's strategic behaviour, the ability to explain complex issues simply, and the curiosity to apply new analytical tools (including AI) to hard problems, this is a rare opportunity to see your analysis shape real-world Alliance decisions. 1.
