CANADEM is seeking seasoned French-speaking Obstetrician/Gynecologist professionals with previous relevant experience for its French-speaking OB/GYN Expert Roster. CANADEM is a Canadian-based NGO that works with various UN agencies through the Standby Partnership Programme. We regularly deploy candidates in various areas of expertise all around the globe. Registration with CANADEM is always free. We are looking to expand our pool of experts for potential/upcoming opportunities with different UN agencies' field offices. Most positions are for 3 to 6 month deployments. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Valid Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent from a recognized institution with an advanced degree or board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the home country, with the ability to obtain temporary registration in the host country. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of post-residency experience in active clinical OB/GYN practice. Proven track record in performing emergency obstetric surgeries independently under challenging conditions.
