Org. Setting and Reporting This position is located in the Global Alliance Unit, in the Executive Direction and Management Division (EDM) of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in Geneva, Switzerland. The incumbent reports to the Coordinator of the Global Alliance for Human Rights, a time-bound initiative to mobilize support for human rights marking the 80th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Responsibilities Within delegated authority, the Communications Officer will be responsible for the following duties: • Develop campaign strategies to raise awareness among target audiences, mobilize support and resources in line with the organisation's policies and regulations, and drive action in support of the Global Alliance’s objectives and initiatives. • Draft compelling narratives and messaging on the work of the Global Alliance that engage target audiences across different channels and platforms. • Develop creative concepts, content, and materials, including digital and print assets, social media posts, email communications, and multimedia content for the catalytic initiatives and activations of the Global Alliance. • Build and maintain…
