The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture seeks suitable Nigerian nationals for the positions below at the Institute’s Headquarters in Ibadan. Position: Project Superintendent Contract: 3-years renewable contract Location: Ibadan Closing Date: 19 October 2026 DUTIES Lead and manage the on-site construction team i.e. foremen, sub-foremen, artisans. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and quality standards. Apportion work among staff according to their specialized training. Coordinate new construction and major remodelling which involves scheduling, meetings, and reviewing of project documents (e.g. contracts, specifications, blueprints) as necessary. Monitor and report on the work progress. Keep track of material stock and orders with the supply chain unit. Create labour and material schedules to guide the project are within the budget. Motivates subordinates and others to top performance. Maintain project files for work scopes, drawings logs, sketches, photographs, and all correspondences.
