About this role
The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an initial contract duration of 2 years. There are very good prospects for an extension. Employment location will be Ottawa, Canada. As the Representative of WHH's newly established not-for-profit entity, WHH Canada, based in Ottawa, you will lead and represent the organization in Canada while also serving as Donor Relations Manager for Global Affairs Canada (GAC). You will strengthen WHH Canada's visibility by building strategic relationships with GAC, Canadian NGOs, and other key actors in the Canadian humanitarian and development sector. You will represent WHH Canada in relevant NGO networks and actively engage in those. Working closely with WHH country offices and headquarters teams, you will pursue fundraising opportunities with GAC and serve as WHH's primary focal point and key contact into the Canadian market.
