Work Location New York, in-person but may be remote or hybrid Expected duration Six months part-time with a 2 November 2026 start date Duties and Responsibilities The Department of Peace Operations (DPO) provides political and executive direction to United Nations peacekeeping operations around the world and maintains contact with the Security Council, troop- and police-contributing countries (T/PCCs), and financial contributors. This internship is located in the Integrated Training Service (ITS) of the Policy, Evaluation and Training Division (PETD) in DPO. ITS is responsible for developing peacekeeping training policies, standards, and materials, and supporting capacity-building for military, police, and civilian peacekeepers. The intern will work under the supervision of the Team Leader of the Training Policy and Standards Team (TPST). The Intern will support the development of e-learning and training materials, including: • Assist with developing short e-learning courses from existing training materials. • Help prepare simple scenarios, scripts, storyboards, quizzes and learning activities. • Assist with editing images, audio and video for use in online courses. • Help build…
