About this role
Overview of position HLP and protection programming to support durable solutions for displacement-affected communities. The programme focuses on strengthening access to Housing, Land and Property rights, improving protection-sensitive case management, and supporting safe, informed, and rights-based pathways for return, relocation, reintegration, and recovery. HLP and protection concerns remain closely linked in South Sudan. Displaced persons, returnees, and host communities often face land disputes, forced evictions, secondary occupation, lack of documentation, family and community-level disputes, and limited access to safe referral pathways or effective dispute resolution mechanisms. The Case Management HLP and Protection Associate will support the identification, documentation, analysis, referral, and follow-up of HLP and protection-related cases. The role will help ensure that affected individuals and communities receive timely information, appropriate referrals, and support that is confidential, inclusive, conflict-sensitive, and aligned with do-no-harm principles.
