About this role
Under the supervision of the Head of the Facilitation Section, the incumbent will participate in and contribute to the implementation of the Section's programme of work relating to facilitation, maritime digitalization, data harmonization, port administration and technical cooperation activities. The incumbent will be expected to undertake in the Maritime Safety Division, a broad range of responsibilities and to adapt to evolving organizational priorities, including the delivery of new projects and initiatives in response to emerging operational, technological, regulatory or strategic requirements of the Maritime Safety Division and the Organization. Main Duties and Responsibilities Provide secretariat support to the Facilitation Committee (FAL), the Expert Group on Data Harmonization (EGDH), and other related subsidiary bodies and working groups, as required including the preparation of briefs, notes, documents and reports, and the development and review of manuals, guidance and other publications.
