Org. Setting and Reporting This position is located in the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) Kabul Mission HQ. The Information Systems Assistant reports to the Unit Supervisor of the Service Management Unit in Filed Technology Section and Chief Field Technology Section. Responsibilities Under the direct supervision of the Unit Supervisor of the Service Management Unit and Chief Field Technology Section, the incumbent will perform the following responsibilities: • Providing ICT support for computer information systems, enterprise-level applications support, server system operations and administration, implementation of network projects, databases and applications in assigned areas and troubleshooting for various applications. • Installing and configuring ICT end-user equipment computer hardware, software, systems, printers and scanners. • Providing timely and efficient ICT end-user support to all mission components and sites. • Receives and logs problem calls or ICT service requests in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. • Diagnoses and resolve ICT hardware, software, or connectivity problems. • Collaborate and work with Operations Unit to…
