About this role
Result of Service The purpose of this consultancy is to provide specialized technical, strategic, and operational support to UNOOSA in advancing the implementation of the Strategic Roadmap for the Brazilian Space Ecosystem. The consultancy will support the implementation of the Brazilian Space Ecosystem Roadmap, space industry development, international cooperation, outreach and capacity building. This amendment and extension add the preparation of a plan to structure and establish an ESA Business Incubation Centre (ESA BIC) in Brazil, with an initial network of participating institutions, and explicitly requires a report on the results of the Space Industry Workshop 2026 and International Mission Brazil and Europe, which has already taken place. The workshop results report forms part of Deliverable B. The ESA BIC structuring and implementation plan and its supporting annexes form Deliverable C. The assignment is expected to contribute to ecosystem development, stakeholder engagement, institutional capacity strengthening, and evidence-based policy and programme implementation.
