Work Location In-Person in Doha, Qatar or remote Expected duration Duration: 3-6 months Desired start date: November 2026 Duties and Responsibilities The mandate and work of the office derives from General Assembly resolution 51/77 and subsequent General Assembly resolutions, as well as successive Security Council resolutions on children and armed conflict. The role of the SRSG-CAAC is to strengthen the protection of children affected by armed conflict, raise awareness, promote the collection of information about the plight of children affected by war and foster international cooperation to improve their protection. This internship is located in the United Nations Analysis and Outreach Hub on Children and Armed Conflict in Doha. The intern will report to the Deputy Head of the Analysis and Outreach Hub and work closely with the team on various projects and initiatives related to the OSRSG-CAAC mandate. The internship is UNPAID and in-person or remote on a full-time basis (35h/week). The internship duration is 3-6 months.
