Job Overview: The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is one of the leading providers of high-quality programming for refugees resettling to the United States. The IRC is seeking a Digital Community Liaison for Settle In, a program providing information and support for newcomers in multiple languages through its website (SettleInUS.org), mobile app, and social media platforms. More information on Settle In can be found on https://www.settleinus.org . The Digital Community Liaison will support the Settle In Facebook page ( https://www.facebook.com/SettleInUS ), which is available in Dari, Pashto, Spanish, Haitian-Creole, and English. Digital Community Liaisons interact with newcomers in the United States on social media primarily through private messaging and social media post comments.
