Work Location Bangkok, Thailand Expected duration 6 months Duties and Responsibilities The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is the leading global environmental authority that sets the global environmental agenda, promotes the coherent implementation of the environmental dimension of sustainable development within the United Nations system and serves as an authoritative advocate for the global environment. The internship is located in the Early Warning Section of UNEP in Bangkok. The Section supports countries in strengthening climate information and people-centred multi-hazard early warning systems to enhance resilience to climate-related risks and support climate adaptation and risk-informed decision-making. The intern will support the Section's work on climate information and early warning systems, with a particular focus on project development, research, analysis and proposal preparation.
