OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME The mission of WHO's Health Emergencies Programme is to help countries, and to coordinate international action, to prevent, prepare for, detect, rapidly respond to, and recover from outbreaks and emergencies. The objective of the immunization and vaccine development programme is to expand the scope of immunization, maximize the benefits of vaccines and immunization programmes, and accelerate control, and achieve and sustain elimination of vaccine-preventable diseases in Yemen DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES During deployment, the duty station may change, and duties may be modified, based upon the technical needs of the Programme. 1. Liaise with the national counterparts and stakeholders the development of the Expanded Programme on Immunization plan in Yemen and assist Member State to strengthen the evaluation and monitoring of immunization activities. 2.
