About this role
Provide secretariat support to the Facilitation Committee (FAL), the Expert Group on Data Harmonization (EGDH), and other related subsidiary bodies and working groups, as required including the preparation of briefs, notes, documents and reports, and the development and review of manuals, guidance and other publications. Act as Secretary of the Expert Group on Data Harmonization (EGDH) coordinating and supporting its work, including the preparation of meeting documentation, reports, correspondence and follow-up actions. Deal with maritime facilitation, maritime digitalization, port administration and port management issues, including the management, maintenance and development of GISIS modules, databases, information systems and data structures supporting the IMO Compendium on Facilitation and Electronic Business, Maritime Single Window (MSW) implementation and data harmonization activities, and provide technical advice and assistance to Member States, international organizations, port authorities and industry stakeholders, as appropriate.
