OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME By its role and function, the incumbent will contribute to the overall goal of WHO's presence in Solomon Islands which is ensuring a functional health care system capable of delivering responsive quality services that are accessible, affordable, and equitable for all population in the country. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES The incumbent is expected to perform all or most of the following duties: Act as focal point for budget and finance matters, responding to queries and escalating issues Provide information and guidance on application of organizational rules, policies, and procedures Monitor compliance and analyze funding situations, planned costs, donor agreements, and expenditures Provide guidance and support for operational planning and workplan management Check completeness and accuracy of payment request supporting documents Follow up on invoices on hold and encumbrances with budget centers Ensure timely processing of bank account replenishments Review and process service registrations and reports from budget centers Identify areas requiring improvement and recommend capacity building initiatives Establish and/or maintain the team's electronic filing…
