Result of Service Under the guidance of the concerned Sanctions Committee(s), the Expert will research, analyze and present information in the framework of the mandate(s) contained in the relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions. Work Location Various Expected duration The duration of this position may vary, depending on the decisions of the United Nations Security Council. The position is subject to the renewal of related mandate(s) and availability of funds. Duties and Responsibilities Within delegated authority and in accordance with the respective Security Council mandates, Experts will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following duties: Substantive • Contribute to the monitoring of sanctions measures and research on/analysis of alleged sanctions violations or non-compliance as mandated by the relevant Security Council resolutions in his/her area of expertise; • Contribute to reporting on any violations of the sanctions regime or non-compliance through updates and reports to the Committee and the Security Council required under relevant Security Council resolutions, as well as any periodic briefing/reporting as requested by the Committee; • Contribute to…
