About this role
Org. Setting and Reporting The positions are located within the Judicial Support and Cooperation Section of the International, Impartial and Independent Mechanism to assist in the investigation and prosecution of persons responsible for the most serious crimes under International Law committed in the Syrian Arab Republic since March 2011 (IIIM). Under the overall supervision of the P4 Legal Officer/RFA Coordinator, the incumbent will directly report to a P3 Analyst. Responsibilities Within delegated authority, the Associate Information Analyst is responsible for the following duties: • Under the guidance of a P3 Analyst, assists in the development of research and analysis strategies and conducts research to identify relevant evidence in the IIIM repository and open-source information to support the development of investigations that can further criminal accountability for the most serious crimes under international law committed in the Syrian Arab Republic since March 2011; • Under the guidance of a P3 Analyst, gathers, collects, evaluates and analyzes information to determine relevance and gaps and to inform decisions relating to judicial support activities;•Organizes and…
