JOB SUMMARY: The The ETC Coordinator provides strategic leadership and overall oversight of all functions and operations across multiple Ebola Treatment Centers (ETCs). Reporting directly to the Medical Director, this senior strategic position ensures high-quality, safe, and effective patient care while maintaining strict compliance with national and international protocols. The ETC Coordinator works closely with Site Coordinators, the Clinical Care Manager, and technical leads (IPC, laboratory, WASH, nutrition, RCCE, logistics) to deliver integrated and accountable ETC services. A key aspect of the role involves regular presence inside the red zone to directly observe operations, mentor staff, verify protocol compliance, and ensure quality standards are consistently met on the ground. The ETC Coordinator is responsible for operational excellence, quality improvement, resource stewardship, performance monitoring, and effective coordination with health authorities and partners across all assigned ETCs.
