Job Overview: The Development Specialist is a member of the Resource Development department and works closely with the Grants Coordinator and Development Supervisor to leverage individual and corporate financial and in-kind donors to support the IRC in Atlanta, Tallahassee, and Miami’s unrestricted fundraising efforts. The Development Specialist provides administrative support for the organization through volunteer tracking and reporting, event planning support, funding research and application, cultivation strategies including gift acknowledgement, mail appeal preparation and management, Salesforce database management, and maintaining accurate donor files. Additionally, the Development Specialist will provide general office support to include preparation of correspondence, data input, filing and other duties as needed. This position will report to the Development Supervisor and is a full-time position.
